The IXth Biennial National Conference of the PANE was successfully organized at North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST), Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, from 18th to 20th December, 2014.

The three-day conference brought together physicists, researchers, academicians, and students from across the North Eastern region and other parts of the country. The event served as a significant platform for presenting recent research, sharing developments in various branches of physics, and fostering academic collaboration among institutions.

The conference featured plenary talks, invited lectures, and paper presentations covering diverse fields such as High Energy Physics, Astrophysics, Condensed Matter Physics, Plasma Physics, Nuclear Physics, and Applied Physics. Special sessions were held to engage young researchers and provide them with opportunities to present their work and interact with leading scientists.

The successful organization of the IXth PANE Conference at NERIST contributed to strengthening the academic exchange and scientific spirit in the region, reinforcing the PANE’s mission of promoting physics education and research across the Northeastern states. Prof. Tado Karlo was the convener of the conference.
