Dr Yajnya Sapkota served as the Examination Coordinator, overseeing the entire process.
In preparation for the exam, students were provided with study materials, and pre-examination teaching sessions, led by Dr. Debasish Bora from IIT Guwahati, were organized to clarify key physics concepts.
The examination was conducted in two stages:
• Stage One involved a multiple-choice question (MCQ)-based test with negative marking to ensure rigour and accuracy. Held at more than 25 centres across the North Eastern states, this round identified the Centre Toppers and finalists, which included both the State Toppers and the top 20 candidates based on overall merit.
