Dr. Kushal Kalita is teaching and doing research in Nuclear physics for last 19 years. His work involves studies on nuclear reaction dynamics, sub barrier fusion, fission dynamics etc. He is collaborating with IUAC, New Delhi, BARC-TIFR, Mumbai and VECC, Kolkata. He has post doctoral research in Australian National University, Canberra Australia. He has completed 6 research projects and produced 4 Ph.Ds and working with 6 more. He has currently 50 research papers and two books written to his credit. He served PANE as general secretary for 3 years. He has also collaboration with FAIR- PANDA, GSI, Germany and MOU with Stephen Mayer Institute, Viena, Austria.
