Join the PANE Winter School for an Introductory Course on Astrophysics and Cosmology

The Physics Academy of the North East (PANE) invites applications for the PANE Winter School 2025, an introductory course on Astrophysics and Cosmology taking place from December 8 to December 20, 2025. This online program, scheduled daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, is tailored for PhD, MSc, and exceptionally motivated BSc students who wish to build the foundational knowledge required to initiate research in these fields. Participants will engage with expert-led lectures covering Stellar Astrophysics, General Relativity, Black Hole Physics, and Cosmology, featuring instructors from prestigious institutions such as IACS, IIT Guwahati, and IUCAA. Interested candidates should submit their registration by December 2, 2025; the registration fee is Rs. 500/-, which will be refunded to any candidates who are not selected for the program.
